Meeting new people with NXT5 is fun and should always be so. Therefore we have some guidelines that may avoid inconvenient situations:

1. Do not give any personal information (e.g. your name, email address or phone number) to a new contact. With this personal information a new contact may find things out about you that you rather like to keep for yourself. Feel free to use the chat function on the NXT5 website: this function gives you a save opportunity to communicate with others without the exchange of any personal information. It also ensures that you can cut off any contact that did not meet your expectations.
2. Use an anonymous email address for the NXT5 website. An anonymous email address does not contain your name, nor any other information that might lead to you as a person. NXT5 will never give your email adress to others, but if you want to mail a contact (instead of using the NXT5 chat function) you can stay anonymous with an anonymous email adress. Creating anonymous email addresses is easy (and free) with services as Hotmail or Gmail.
3. Do you want to meet a new contact in person? Make sure that any first appointment takes place in a public place among other people. Tell someone you trust about this appointment and let this person phone you during the meeting. This "unexpected" phonecall gives you a chance to tell your trustee that everything is ok. And, as important as that, it also offers you an easy excuse for putting an end to the meeting.
